Mac offers a space for people to explore their experiences without judgement. His approach to therapy is collaborative, with a focus on understanding challenges in the context of ones lived experience, cultural background, and what feels important to the individual.
Mac has worked in diverse clinical settings, including university clinics, clinical research trials, private practice, outpatient pain medicine, community health rehabilitation, and sexual health services.
Mac is passionate about providing affirming support to LGBTIQA+ individuals, people engaged in kink/BDSM and non-monogamous relationships, sex workers, and those seeking sexual health education.
Mac's practice is guided by the belief that every person has the potential to overcome challenges and live a fulfilling life. His approach is informed by evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy.
